1. What types of RSS feeds are supported by Nomad Reader ?
Nomad Reader is a powerful mobile News Feed Grabber / Reader /
Aggregator compatible with the following RSS file formats used for web
syndication in news websites and weblogs: RSS any type Rich Site
Summary (RSS 0.9, 0.91, 0.92, 2.0), RDF Site Summary (RDF 1.0), and
ATOM (0.3).
2. What's a Keyword search ?
Nomad Reader for Windows Mobile Pocket PC lets you search Blog,
RSS/ATOM, News Feeds by selecting keywords or combinations of keywords
related to specific news topics (e.g. NHL hockey, WI-Max, Canadian
politics). Keyword search results will only return news articles
relevant to the keywords or combinations of keywords you previously
selected.
3. What's a Newswire search ?
Nomad Reader lets you monitor your favorite newswire feeds (e.g.
RSS/ATOM newspapers, trade journals and blogs) by searching articles
among syndicate contents that can be customize, manage and view within
the application. Newswire search feature scans automatically your
favorite and must trusted sources of syndicate information for the
latest feed updates every time you go online.
4. How can I grab news feeds from blogs and websites ?
You can grab news feeds on your Windows Mobile Pocket PC by searching
syndicate contents (Newswire search) or by searching keywords or
combination of keywords related to specific subjects of interest and
news topics (Keyword search).
5. Can I monitor RSS/ATOM feeds ?

combinations on weblogs. 2. aggregate news feeds by searching specific
keywords or keyword combinations on websites
3. retrieve news feeds by subscribing to specific RSS/ATOM feeds.
10. How can I monitor multiple news topics within Nomad Reader ?
By Keyword/Newswire searching for news feed updates with Nomad Reader,
you can monitor as many news topics as you want. You can also sort
items related to searched news topics on your My Journal viewer menu
for an optimize news browsing experience.
11. Do I need an Internet Connection at all times in order to use Nomad Reader ?
No. You can read cached news items off-line. Our application only goes
online to upload news feed updates. Dedicated Mobile News Readers such
as Nomad Reader are seamless, fast and convenient; making you save time
and substantial costs on data connection fees.
12. Will there be any impacts on the software if I change my Wireless Carrier ?
No. The application is completely independent from the carrier service.
Switching carriers will have no impact on the overall software
performance as long as a data connection remains available to the

13. How many data is downloaded and uploaded by Nomad Reader ?
An infinite amount of data or as much as you preset to upload.
14. How can I forward news items to my Outlook contacts ?
Nomad Reader lets you share information effectively by allowing you to
email interesting news items to Outlook contacts: team mates,
colleagues, friends and partners via your Windows Mobile Pocket PC.
First, you need to select the news item you want to share from your My
Journal viewer menu. Once inside the item click on Email (bottom page).
This will take you to a box synced with all your Outlook contacts,
select your recipient(s) and send your item. Nomad Reader will
automatically email your news item to the selected Outlook contacts.

1. There is a fatal error when I launch the software, what is the problem?
Nomad Reader will fail to start if Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 is not installed on your Pocket PC.
Download Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0.
2. Is there any Known bug in the latest version of Nomad Reader?
No, not at this time.
